The singer started out by dedicating the song to "All you cannibals who have to go so far as to eat somebody in order to feel anything." Heavy metal is freaky and dead-on. Then he mentioned that he had a friend who drove a Hummer and how he got shot at last week. I thought "What genius!" Not on the part of the crafter of the songs, but the guy who attempted to shoot his friend in the Hummer. I can imagine him saying at the trial "Somebody had to die for the statement, by the way Nabokov made me do it." [Crossing] fingers, hoping that the reporters [flock]

Prison will probably look like some type of resort in the future, meals prepared, no more frozen dinners, hardly a lack of sex partner. They have a gym that you could use for free, probably work less than 60 hours a week too. Prison already has a few luxeries that the life of the consumer lacks, some aspects are downright deluxe.

Thought of a good idea tonight; handcuff-watches. A sham product that might net me some needed petro dollars and help destroy the social fabric at the same time. It always makes me feel like the George Bush reminder of American freedom is made specially for me whenever I see people checking their watches on a regular basis, like cell-phones and any job with a hiearchy that plays out in something called shifts, the wardens are "working" for free, well a slight fee anyway. Let the consumer pay for his imprisonment. At least the consumer will have his leisure time later though, we all know that if you work hard, thou shalt play hard. Just don't forget that when you are working or producing to head to the store or the golf course later so you can be playing or consuming.

In the grocery store earlier today, some angry customers. People yelling, fighting about money with children and spouses on cell-phones. Don't exactly agree with the whole doom philosophy of Morris Berman, but he makes some interesting comparisons between the end of the Roman empire and N. America. High foreign debts, increased disparity between rich and poor, disappearing middle class. Good thing the inescapable values of the church are still hanging in there, such as theft and the fast track to hell. The property owners are always trying to fortify that never dying myth that spawned it. Currently, my arm is doing alright, it's like my financial father always said, "Get Your head out of your assets."

Getting rid of God is like picking scabs, the more you pick, the nastier it gets and the more you are disgusted to find what's under there. The contingency of the language that we use to express ourselves on a daily basis is forever cloudy and confused, the word pure is very impure.

By examining the language of religions, German Fascism and the surrounding spectacle-it really does seem as if our advertizing executives must have been taking notes. Maintaining power over people is fairly easy but still requires strategy. It happens more easily if there is a forgotten instinct for conformity and our group belonging feelings in what seem to have been smaller tribes replaced by American social alienation in ever expanding cities is an example of that. The conformity instinct has kept some of its strong impulses, patriotism, sports cults, Christian fundamental resurgence but is not fully exhausted and the energy seems to have channelled into the cult of the self which has its own mix of blessing and blindness. A blindness example is a readiness, an eagerness, an enthusiasm to jump on the next train for Horror, understandable considering we've been alone for so long. It's also made easy with some good old fashioned language poisoning, scalding of the subtle, forgetting to add the nuance spices and steady orientation of culturally (commodity) structured relations between signifier and signified even if it is destined to forever remain unconscious.
